The Revolution

Two Parisians in three are on the roads south and the Directorate's grey columns are in the avenues. Set up three cells linked in one chain: a courier who stays a turn with a cell links it to the nearest other cell within two districts. Do it without a single cell being given away through its links.

Objective

Three cells linked in one chain, with no cell exposed through its links

Stars

  1. Win the level
  2. Win within 7 turns
  3. Heat under 20

The game's hint A courier links the cell it stands with only after a full turn without moving, and only to a cell set up before that turn, in another district. Stay out of the Special Brigades' districts and their neighbours.

The Law

The government has gone and the Directorate expects the city to run. Restore services and register the population in the twelve central districts: police in the district to restore services, a Police Brigade to register. The Directorate's first demand comes on day 4.

Objective

Restore services and register the population in all 12 central districts

Stars

  1. Win the level
  2. Win within 7 turns
  3. No demand complied with

The game's hint Restoring services needs any police unit, registering needs a Police Brigade, and the Resistance can make the registers disappear. Arresting a linked cell may expose the others.

The Empty City

The Directorate's columns came into an empty city. The Prefecture stayed at its post and opened the town halls again.

If the Revolution won

Before the summer was out, three groups of people who did not know each other's names were passing messages.

Otherwise

By the autumn every Parisian was on a list at the Prefecture.

If the Revolution chose “Tear it down”

Someone climbed the tower and cut the banner down. The Directorate put up another the next day, and the city talked of nothing else.

If the Revolution chose “Leave it, and organise”

The banner stayed up, and the first cells met in the back rooms of cafés.

If the Law chose “Protest formally”

The Prefect protested in writing. The Directorate filed the letter, and the patriots in the police noticed.

Otherwise

The Prefect said nothing, and the Directorate noted his good sense.
