The Revolution

He will crown himself in Notre-Dame, and the Pope has come to watch. A royalist kidnap plot has just been 'discovered' and a young duke shot in a ditch. Stage three protests during the coronation weeks, or prove the plot was the police's own work.

Objective

Stage 3 protests during turns 8 to 12, or gather 3 proofs that the kidnap plot was a set-up

Stars

  1. Win the level
  2. Win within 9 turns
  3. No Infernal Machine

The game's hint Protests only count from turn 8, in districts at 35+ Unrest; they also push Unrest up, and one district at 50 breaks the Law's objective. Investigations in the Cité, the Palais-Royal and Saint-Germain can win it earlier.

The Law

The coronation must be perfect. Keep every district of Paris below 50 Unrest from the eighth week to the twelfth, and let the world see a city that loves its Emperor.

Objective

Keep every district under 50 Unrest during turns 8 to 12

Stars

  1. Win the level
  2. Already meet the objective by turn 9
  3. No Conscription

The game's hint Use the alms and the gendarmes before turn 8 so that the faubourgs start the coronation cool. Conscription would help you and cost you the third star.

III. The Crown

The Pope came across the Alps to crown him, and he took the crown from the Pope's hands and put it on his own head.

If the Revolution won

The crowds were thinner than the paintings show, and someone shouted in the nave. The Emperor did not forget the faces at the windows of the faubourgs.

Otherwise

The city was quiet and decked with bees. In the painting there are faces in the gallery who were not there at all.

If the Law chose “Exile him”

The young duke was sent back over the Rhine, and the old kings of Europe noted that the new one could be generous.

Otherwise

The young duke was shot in the moat of Vincennes. Somebody said it was worse than a crime: it was a blunder.
