The Revolution
The king is back, with a charter and a parliament. Then, in the fourth week, the Eagle lands on the southern coast with a thousand men, and every regiment sent against him joins him. Keep five districts and the city's opinion until news of the great battle in the north.

VI. A Hundred Days
He came back from his island with a thousand men, and the regiments sent to arrest him went over one by one, until the king left the Tuileries by night.
One way “A Hundred Days” can end, version 1
On a wet Sunday in the north he won one more battle, and Paris lit its windows for him. Nobody believed it would last, and for once nobody was right.
One way “A Hundred Days” can end, version 2
He held Paris, but the battle in the north was lost. He was sent to an island again, close enough to be watched, close enough to be feared.
Otherwise
The battle in the north was lost and Paris was not his. He was sent to a rock in the southern ocean, so far away that the news of his death took two months to arrive.
