  2. Win within 10 turns
  3. Never use the poisoners rumour

II. The Blue Fear

The cholera came in March, from the east, as the newspapers had said it would. In the streets of the centre the dead were stacked in the churches; in the west, the windows were shuttered and the owners gone.

One way “The Blue Fear” can end

By summer it had touched every quarter. Eighteen thousand died in Paris that year.

Otherwise

The prefecture limed the streets and burned the bedding, and the sickness stayed in the old centre. The new boulevards were drawn on maps that summer.

If the Revolution chose “Turn the funeral into a rising”

The general's coffin was the spark. The funeral became a rising before it reached the bridge.

If the Revolution chose “Keep it peaceful”

The funeral was long and silent, and nobody fired a shot.

If the Law chose “Ban the procession”

The procession was banned and went ahead anyway, with soldiers at every corner.

Otherwise

The government gave the general an official funeral and stole it from the republicans.
