The Revolution

The republic you made in February has closed the National Workshops: the young men to the army, the rest to the provinces. The east of the city is up. Hold three of the four eastern districts for six days, or win a vote to keep the workshops open.

Objective

Hold 3 of Saint-Antoine, Temple, Saint-Marcel and Marais at turn 24, or win an Assembly vote (every 8 turns)

Stars

  1. Win the level
  2. Win within 18 turns
  3. Accept the Archbishop's mediation

The game's hint At turn 12 the National Guard backs whichever side it leans toward. On turn 14 the Archbishop walks between the lines: if both sides accept, three turns of ceasefire and an even chance of a compromise that keeps the workshops.

VI. June

In June the republic closed the National Workshops, and the east of the city rose behind four hundred barricades. The government gave a general full powers and the general brought up the guns.

One way “The June Days” can end

The workshops stayed open, at least for a time, and the Republic learned that it could not govern Paris against the faubourgs.

Otherwise

When it was over, there were thousands dead and eleven thousand prisoners, and the Republic had a general's face.

One way “The June Days” can end

The Archbishop's walk between the lines bought three days of silence on the barricades.

Otherwise

The Archbishop climbed the barricade of the Faubourg Saint-Antoine with a green branch, and was shot there by a bullet nobody would claim.
