Commissioner Laure Dassin
Laure Dassin joined the police at twenty, rose through the riot units and became one of the first women to command the public-order units of a whole sector of the capital. She is respected by her officers for being on the ground with them, and feared for the same reason.
In 2019 she was given the new motorbike brigades: pairs of officers on fast machines, one to drive and one to act, sent into the crowds to make arrests. The ministry praises their results. Doctors count the injuries, and Dassin has decided that is someone else's department.
