Nathalie Brun, nurse and roundabout organiser
Nathalie Brun is a home-care nurse who drives sixty kilometres a day to wash, dress and medicate old people in the villages around the city's edge, paid by the visit. Her car is her office and the price of fuel is her salary.
In November 2018 she put on her yellow safety vest and went to the roundabout outside the shopping centre, because everybody else seemed to be going. She found neighbours she had never met, a brazier, a pallet hut and a sense of being listened to that she had not had in years. She has been there every Saturday since, and she brings coffee.
