Prime Minister Dominique Villiard
Dominique Villiard is a senator from the Alps, a mountaineer and a former minister of almost everything except the job he wanted. He is courteous, stubborn and proud of having never lost an election, and he believes the State is above parties, including his own.
He and Valcourt are allies on paper and rivals in everything else, each waiting for the other to make the mistake that will open the road to the presidency. Villiard thinks reforms should be decided by the government and explained afterwards. The students and the unions have not yet shown him what they think.
