“Cendre”, leader of the Ash Front
Nobody knows Cendre's real name, and the Ash Front has made sure of it. The few who have met them describe someone young, quiet and scarred by a fire, who lost everything in the heat or the floods and decided that patience was a luxury for people with time.
The Ash Front sabotages data centres, cooling plants for the rich and the vehicles of the companies that sold the city its drones. Its insurgents are strong, angry and impatient, and many of them are very young. Cendre is a name, a voice in encrypted messages and, for the Grid, the most wanted person in Paris.
